Merchant Maverick was founded with a clear mission to guide small businesses through the complex and overwhelming process of choosing the right business software. Our Managing Editor, Shelbi, and our Digital Content Producer, Kendall (occasionally accompanied by other members of the Maverick Team, like our CEO, Amad), hit the road to visit small businesses and learn their stories.
The first road trip was around Oregon. They had a mission to eat small, shop small, and stay small the entire trip. From Portland to Ashland and many places in between, the Main Street Mavericks met with over 30 Oregon small businesses.
From startups to fifth-generation merchants, these business owners are worth meeting.
